WHAT A FRIEND

Our dearest friends are so special
Whom we treasure and we love
But the dearest friend of all
Is our precious Savior up above

So bring all your burdens before Him
Lay them at the cross close by His feet
He will never let you down
All your problems He is ready to meet

You can trust our Savior
He knows what’s best for you
Let your burden rest in His loving hands
And He will carry you through

It may be an answer you did not expect
But our Father knows what is best
He’ll lift that burden from your heart
And bring you into perfect rest.
