Hello Dede, I have just spent some time catching up on the pages from your site that you sent out a while ago. Really enjoyed my visit and I have to say that I felt something very special as I read your page on being “Born Again”. A wonderful page with so much to make people think and I hope that it may help to get some people to look closer at themselves and perhaps choose to allow the Lord into their lives. “Forever Friends” is a lovely poem and shows that love need not be confined to simply one other person, but to love all of God’s creatures on this earth. What a very profound and true writing “Loss” is, sadly so many simply want to go their own way, especially during the rebellious teenage years and all we can do is pray that they can get through them and find their way back to a life with God once they see the error of their ways. A beautiful but very sad poem. It is a very sad fact that many do simply do nothing but try to control their husband or wife and by far it is mostly the husbands who try to dominate their wives. I could not agree more with your sentiments; no one should have to live within an abusive relationship. I cannot understand how many do truly hurt those who they claim to love. Well, what can I say? It is very obvious that you love your grand-daughters but I can sure understand that having 11 wonderful grand-children of my own who I simply adore. Aren’t grand-children just wonderful, they even try to keep you young although they do fail at that sometimes when you simply cannot keep up with their boundless energy. I pray that you are all well and that Dick is feeling much better. I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers often. Hello Dede, So sorry for taking so long to catch up with your pages, but I do like to wait until I have time to really enjoy the pages you send. It has been very busy during Holy Week and Easter and I put off visiting many sites until after Easter. I do hope that you had a wonderful Easter as I think it is really the most spiritual time of the year. What a beautiful story of seeing Jesus through the eyes of a child. It is very moving to read and is also a very powerful story of just how we should also see Jesus. I have seen the version for those of us who could be called “older” of the beautiful Hymn “Jesus Loves Me” before, but it is always lovely to see it again and Jimmy has really made a beautiful page for it. I can imagine it would have been a stressful time as the 2 youngsters went through getting their tonsils removed and glad to know that all is now well.
