When Ye Pray, Believe
Mark 11:24
Praying Hands
Hands are a wonderful part of
our bodies.
Oh, Yes, We could survive
without them but
life is so much easier with
them.
But we take them so much for
granted, like
we do so many other things. We
should never
take anything for granted that
God has blessed
us with.
As a baby we reach our to our
parents with
our tiny little hands to seek
comfort and love.
That is long before we will
realize that God is
our only true source of
comfort and love.
That is unconditional love. He
will love us no
matter what our life is like
and He will never
leave us no matter what awful
choices we make.
Then as a toddler we once again
use our hands
to balance as we struggle to
walk on our own,
and also to feed our self.
Hopefully by this time
our parents will start to start
teaching us to pray.
This is the most important
thing we will ever do
with our hands.
During your life your hands
will certainly be a
very important part of your
anatomy. You will
embrace loved ones and friends.
You will bathe,
clean, cook, iron, wash
clothes, drive a car, write,
and so much more. But none of
these things are as
important as praying. This is
our communication
with God, our Loving Savior. We
need to pray in
good and bad times. We need the
bad or rough
times to grow stronger in our
relationship with
God.
"I will lead my blind people by
roads they have
never traveled. I will turn
their darkness into
light and make their rough
country smooth before
them. These are my promises
and I will keep
them without fail. Isaiah
42:16 (GNB)
In Mark 11: 24-25, God says,
"For this reason
I tell you: when you pray and
ask for something,
believe that you have received
it, and you will be
given whatever you ask for.
And when you stand and pray,
forgive anything
you may have against anyone, so
that your Father
in heaven will forgive the
wrongs you have done."
God wants us to intercede for
others in prayer.
1 John 5: 16-17
Paul implied, 'If Christ saved
me, He can save
anyone.' Pray on, trust the God
who gives life.
