My Sight Cannot Wait For Me
 
One does not need eyes to see
I see with my mind and heart
I see wonders that you cannot see
This was a gift from the very start
 
I have been blind since birth
I see with my other senses
I can see all, on this Earth
People have put up so many fences
 
They wear masks to cover up
Their real feelings are well hid
It's such a shame, not of God
This is bad, heaven forbid
 
I am happy for my blindness
My imagination can run free
I can see all things as beautiful
Please don't envy me...
 
You have your gifts of God
Blindness is one of mine
I choose to praise God for it
As life grows better with time
 
You see things as they are
I see what I want to see
Thank you Lord for this gift
It really set me free
