Ten
Commandments
(Gods Commandments Equal His Words To Us)
In Proverbs
4:20-23 the lord instructs us to "attend"
or to "pay
attention" to His Words. The commandments
of God are
His Words to us. They are life to us. They
produce
blessing. The Bible says if we put God's words
of life into
our hearts it will produce blessings of health
and long
life. If we put bad things into our head or
life,
bad will be
produced. If we put the Word of God into
our lives
and heart, only good can surface.
What is in
our hearts (or spirit), will surface and come
out of our
mouths.
If we desire
holy guidance we need to study the word
of God to
find out what God has to say about our lives
so we can be
guided by His Holy Word. It doesn't matter
what other
people think or say, only God can help us with
our daily
problems. He, alone, has all the answers!
He is the
judge and final authority on every subject.
God say's
keeping His Word and His commandments
brings life,
therefore He gave us the 10 Commandments.
Exodus 20:

Lord, your God, you shall have no other
Gods before

God and the things of God)
Keep
holy the Sabbath day.
(Set aside
time for renewal, prayer & quiet reflection)
Honor
your father and your mother.
(Respect for
all family members, especially the elders)
You shall
not kill.
( Respect
for life for all)
You shall
not commit adultery
(Chastity
and faithfulness)
You shall
not steal.
(Justice and
honesty)
You shall
not bear false witness.
(Truthfulness)
You shall
not covet your neighbors wife.
(Purity,
desire only what God wills)
You shall

God brought
His people out of the land of Egypt
and out of
the house of slavery and bondage. God
has brought
every one of us as Christians out of
the bondage
of the devil and out of his slavery into
God's
freedom. Some of us have lived in bondage
for so long
that we have a hard time adjusting to
our new
found freedom of God. It takes us a while
to adjust
and learn the new laws and ways of God.
Relax and
enjoy what God has given you!
These are
the commandments the Lord gave to
all of you
when you were gathered at the mountain.
When he
spoke with a mighty voice from the fire and
the thick
clouds, he gave these commandments and
no others.
Then he wrote them on two stone tablets
and he gave
them to me, (Moses).
